I would like to invite people in and near San Antonio to the following event:
Understanding Ramadan, Sharing Dinner (register here)

Leader: Sarwat Husain
Register by: June 10
Enrollment: 12 min/40 max.
Explore the Muslim holy month of Ramadan with a lecture at 7 pm and break the fast at sundown with a Ramadan Dinner at 8:30. You will learn about the history of Ramadan, fasting in Abrahamic faiths, and a traditional Ramadan Iftar dinner. During Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn to dusk each day. Fasting is seen as a way to cleanse the soul and have empathy for those in the world who are hungry and less fortunate.
